Official Provider in RFID Event Access Management System of the IBM System p, AIX and Linux Technical University

[Aug 2007 - Japan] ID-Tech (Hong Kong) Limited, a leading system integrator of Barcode and RFID solutions, is pleased to announce that it has been invited to be the Official Provider in RFID Event Access Management System of the IBM System p™, AIX and Linux Technical University, which will be held in Miyazaki, Japan, on 20-24 August 2007.

This event is designated exclusively for IBM customers, IBM Business Partners and IBM employees that brings together speakers from across IBM including leading US lab developers, architects and eminent European specialists, dedicated to provide technical training, information and resources to help maximize System p investment.

At the event registration counter, ID-Tech will attach passive UHF RFID tags to the name badges of all registered delegates to track their attendance record throughout the training.  In addition to preparing for the introduction of RFID into the event access management, ID-Tech, together with IBM, would like to improve efficiency and showcase the advantage of technological advancement.
